Creative DNA

Kenya 4.0

Starting November 2023

An exciting new programme for 20 early-stage fashion and accessories enterprises - helping build sustainable & successful businesses.

Creative DNA : Kenya 4.0

Our new programme in Kenya offers digital and face-to-face mentoring sessions, micro grants, co-created online campaigns, and UK and Kenyan access to market opportunities - delivering business skill development and strengthen participants’ networks in Kenya and the UK.

Participants will receive group masterclasses and workshops by international and local experts and be part of a pop-up shop in Nairobi.

There is also the potential for the participants to be awarded a micro grant, have work featured in a photo shoot for a new edition of WAUZINE, and promoted in media and on Fashion Scout’s social media channels - reaching tens of thousands of viewers around the world.

Building on the success of the previous Creative DNA : Kenya programmes, this new British Council programme is a collaboration between Trio Media in Kenya and Fashion Scout in the UK.

Our network of experts for this programme each have years of extensive practical experience, have trained hundreds of designers around the world and are leaders in their fields.

Subjects covered include business set up in Kenya, costing and pricing, cash management, brand identity and adding value to your brand, B2B and B2C sales strategies, range planning, working with artisans and tailors and building social media communities.
