Emma Aleksanyan is a 22-year-old fashion designer and the winner of Fashion Scout Armenia 2025, originally from Artsakh. A graduate of the Department of Fashion Design at the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, developing a practice grounded in concept-driven design and cultural inquiry.
Her latest collection is inspired by Bushidō, the traditional Japanese philosophy rooted in the samurai code of honor. Interpreted through a contemporary lens, the collection explores values of discipline, courage, loyalty, integrity, and self-control, expressed through precise silhouettes and considered structures that balance strength with delicacy.
Comprising eight looks across womenswear and menswear, the collection features unisex elements and select everyday pieces for the autumn–winter season. A palette of soft blues, greys, and deep red is paired with structured and sheer fabrics, incorporating macramé techniques to articulate tradition in a modern, refined form.
