Fashion Scout is proud to present WAUZINE 005 – the acclaimed Digital Zine exploring identity and community in Kenya’s vibrant and dynamic creative scene.

 Titled “The Storytellers” this issue explores the impact and power of storytelling in modern day Nairobi.  Powerful imagery from the creative team headed by Sunny Dolat creates a compelling narrative featuring 20 of Kenya’s most exciting new fashion and accessories designers.

Our guest illustrators reinterpret these visions from their own creative point of views – adding layers and complexity to the cross discipline creative process

 At the heart of the zine, Wanjeri Gakuru’s thought-provoking article explores re-claiming self-appreciation and identity, with her ability to bring to life diverse narratives, spanning different aspects of human existence and imagination.
