YUKITO LIM explores the relationship between memory, identity, displacement, and the emotional connection between clothing and the body. Founded by London-based designer Yukito Lim, the label combines fashion design with mixed-media textile experimentation, transforming existing materials into new narratives. With a background in MA Fashion Textiles Technologies and extensive experience in vintage and fashion, Yukito reimagines deadstock fabrics, second-hand garments and discarded materials through reconstruction, deconstruction, laser cutting, embroidery, knitting, printing and other experimental techniques.

Raw, tactile and sculptural, the aesthetic balances unconventional silhouettes with considered construction and craftsmanship. Traces of a material’s previous life are often retained, creating a dialogue between the familiar and the unfamiliar. 

Rooted in personal memories and experiences of displacement, YUKITO LIM considers how clothing can carry, transform and reconstruct identity. The label has presented work at Beijing Fashion Week and continues to evolve through experimental collections and international presentations.
