The Swedish School of Textiles is a school located in Borås, the heart of the textile industry in Sweden. The school is known for its innovative, playful, and forward-thinking design students who show their creativity and knowledge in their gripping collections where fashion meets art. For the graduate runway show, 23 innovative works were shown together with 3 designers presenting their work in an exhibition format. The collections consist of a wide variety of themes and explore everything from sculptural expressions to wearable and contemporary fashion. While some students showcase their creativity through rich textile expressions, others do so through outstanding shape creations. Some have focused their work on other important factors such as changeability, inheritance, and sustainability. The Swedish School of Textiles class of 2022 will this year provide an abundance of talented fashion students that truly show the potential for the future of fashion.
