Zeena was established in 2015 in Khartoum, Sudan by Ms Mayada Ahmed: a designer and handmade product-maker interested in integrating local materials with global fashion trends. The business started with simple ideas to deliver her family, relatives and friends with better quality and low-cost leather products. Since then, Zeena introduced accessories design and creation, furthermore initiated training activities for handcraft fans and leather profession-seekers. Considering environmental friendly aspects, Zeena continued to grow and develop throughout these years adding new services including producing accessories from recycled material, leather bag innovations, dress design and training.
