BERGMAN DESIGN

BERGMAN DESIGN - is a Finnish-based brand which is created by a young design student who is still currently studying at LAB University of Applied Sciences.

Since the brand is so new and run by a student its only goal is to express the designer's creativity to the world.
The biggest inspiration comes from Russian heritage which the designer channels through her work. The first mini collection was born from generic Russian lace curtains and is one of the examples what is BERGMAN DESIGN.

BERGMAN DESIGN is all about taking fashion art to the next level. Wanting always to improve and perfect its designs. Inspired by heritage and stories, taking its beauty and grace and turning it into something modern and new but maintaining its core.

BERGMAN DESIGN's first mini collection is “CURTAIN ROBBERS”, named after an interaction with the designer's mother talking about how many lace curtains are there in Russia and if a couple of them would be stolen from neighbors, they would only thank the robbers for taking excess fabrics away from them. By combining this story, sentimental fabric, and modern design aesthetic to the collection, designer came up with "CURTAIN ROBBERS".
