ГАЛА BOROVIC designs for protruding women. The brand focuses on story-telling through textile prints and garment construction that is rooted in the 90’s silhouettes. Living in the era of social and cultural euphoria the brand offers new insight into emotional and intuitive garment creation. ГАЛА BOROVIC openly questions the boundaries of abundancy in fashion and creation of fictional love between the garment and its wearer. ГАЛА BOROVIC garments are designed to last long and aim to become the pieces that you will never want to get rid of.
The brand was awarded the FSEE and ELLE Serbia for the Up-and-Coming designer award in 2019. It was published in worldwide digital and printed issues such as Novembre Global, Pantone Trend Book SS/22, Vogue UK, Numero Russia Magazine, Vogue Italy, Re-edition Magazine, Elle UK/Serbia.....
“SCREAM”- series of printed essentials “SCREAM” represents the unity of sensual body-conscious garments, high-quality materials, and story-telling prints. As a focal point of the launch, the prints are developed in two years’ time, made from countless layers and perplexed visuals interpreting intense experiences. If you look at the prints carefully and closely, you can encounter a euphoric memoir. Finally, the “SCREAM” symbolizes ease- vocal, short, and liberating gesture. And you know what? You don’t have to shout in order to scream. One out of three prints in the collection is done in collaboration with Irena Mirković. For this occasion, she contributed with one visual of herself wearing a wedding gown from a photo performance she worked on during the student days.
