Designer Afa Tsang is a fashion designer based in the United Kingdom. Afa studied fashion design in Hong Kong, graduating in 2008. She launched her own brand BERTH in SS14, which includes womenswear, menswear, kidswear, bags collection and fashion accessories. Afa owns 2 BERTH stores in Hong Kong.

Afa believes that “your brand DNA is what distinguishes you from others”. She describes her brand DNA as a mix of modern vintage style, color blocking, 20’s art deco, and La Garçonne. Her signature design style is using geometric shapes and color blocking to create sculpted yet modern vintage look. You can see the core pieces feature flat chest loose-fit dresses with drop waist. The chosen fabrics and colors either evoke a nostalgic mood or come with very bold vintage prints.

Reliving old fashion with the new modern flare is an amazing take on the evolution of fashion as a whole.
