In 2022, Korean-born designer Jakeyoung Shim founded the Acceptance Letter Studio in Berlin. As an acknowledgment of approval, acceptance letters are sent or received to acknowledge the acceptance of one's work. A punctuation mark in our lives signals that we have officially joined a group.

At Acceptance Letter, we strive to increase that sense of acceptance and belonging. From the beginning, the company's goal was to highlight a wide variety of beauty. We constantly strive to involve our target market in the design/showcase process. In contrast to aloof, chilly, and exclusive brands, we want our designs to evoke yearning, warmth, and connectedness. 

Acceptance Letter Studio is distinctive due to its openness, gender neutrality, and overwhelming pull toward regular use. By combining these elements, the brand creates clothing and accessories that enable customers to develop a deep emotional bond with it.
