XASHA is a brand by artist and designer Sasha Swedlund that lives in-between elevated streetwear and avant-garde fashion. It encompasses bold prints made in house, unique silhouettes and bright colors that are nostalgic and captivating. It brings together the love of art, painting and fashion while incorporation traditional and afro futuristic elements side by side.

Salt 2024

Salt is an exploration of and one of the most common minerals we use that takes so many different forms, shapes and uses. This collection plays with the halite formations as bases for the silhouettes of the pieces and the bright prints are painted with watercolors and sodium chloride that distort that paint and creates fraying or corrosion on the paper like salt would corrodes metal or other materials. The textile graphics are painted from different salt mines like Lac Rose and the colors are based on the different salt rock colors.
