The brand’s eponymous designer, Cookie H., interned at Karen Walker, Zambesi and worked as a fashion consultant for MR/MISS NEWZEALAND during her studies in New Zealand.

In 2010, she opened the first directly-managed independent designer brand and studio model physical store overseas, then returned to her hometown of Guangzhou in 2015 to open the first domestic physical store with the same format for receiving global cooperative buyer stores.

The design language is based on black, white and gray by using handmade clothing techniques, it is difficult to find bright and beautiful fashion or colorful colors. Instead, it is full of “imperfect” effects that reveal the lines and irregular tailoring of the fabric, thus showing the hidden “Ground Covered with Chicken Feathers”. The designer believes that only pure handmade customization can give life and soul to every inch of fabric, so that sentimental dress may create the mysterious witch, which complements the subsequent naming of Lonely Dream Atelier.

The brand is divided into several different production lines, e.g., main customization series ClownPlay, the secondary Anonymous Lab and a handmade silverware series, all of which provide one-on-one exclusive customization services, as well as the dress series Living Dolls Project, children's clothing series CForCourtney, and the Haute Couture Lonely Dream.

The clothing fabric is made of imported natural materials by using different handmade plant dyeing techniques, and the Haute Couture series will also exclusively adopt intangible heritage fabric and fragrant yarn in each piece, which is not only unique in color, but also eco- friendly.

Designers also like to make some styles into Unisex or parent-child collections to narrow the relationships. It is also a concept that focuses on no season. Because global warming affects climate change, most models can fit in every season to obscure the distinction.
