Sharon Wendo creates the kind of jewellery that not only makes your outfit, it is your outfit. Her standout designs for her brand Epica are an expression of Kenya’s craftsmanship and contemporary creativity and range from full body pieces and feathered chokers to face veils.
Jasiri is a swahili word which means brave. This is my first collection and I have been inspired by so many different women who I have met and for my first collection I wanted to make pieces which were both bold and contemporary, dedicated to those brave and confident women. I am highly inspired by different African cultures and our vibrant colors and I want to bring that out in this collection.
