Slovak Fashion Council is a professional non-profit organisation that supports and develops Slovak fashion since 2011. Our activities cover education, mapping, collaborations, networking and promotion of Slovak fashion design in Slovakia and abroad.
Our vision is the advancement of fashion ecosystem in Slovakia and we want our designers to be a vital part of the respective creative industry and culture. Our main interest is mapping of local fashion scene and creation of Fashion Map of our capital Bratislava and all regions of Slovakia.
‘Fashion Map’
Fashion Map is a unique list of fashion designers, their ateliers and showrooms as well as local concepts stores, presentation and sale places. The goal of Fashion map is to present local fashion and design to the industry and general public too. We wish to make these unique places more visible and to help them sustain their businesses in long term by increasing their customer base. Fashion map is a great tool for us at Slovak Fashion Council too as it shows us the great variety of our fashion designers. Since 2013 we are presenting our emerging designers in London and this year won’t be any different despite the dramatic influence of corona pandemic on the fashion industry. We believe nothing can stop fashion and thanks to the online opportunities and the ever-lasting energy in the fashion sector we are happy to introduce three selected fashion designers and their brands with Fashion Scout Digital during LFW this season.
Our selection include: Buffet Clothing, Kristina Sipulova and Petra Kovacs
