I create to celebrate the human body and my designs are an extravagant, opulent extension of the human skin. Something which embodies a sense of purpose and art. Our inspirations are often derived from the unconventional spectrum of things or events that transpired.
I am drawn towards designs that can be toned up or toned down according to one's mood which ties the moments of our existence and embraces one's individuality. Fashion is about one's expression and breaking false dichotomy. And for me, one should always be authentic to one's portrayal of themselves in the form of clothes. We promote a new era of self-expression and escaping narratives
This collection is made in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India and is constructed out of Repurposed designer wear. Through these clothes, I chose to express the individualistic journey that one goes through in the process of finding themselves. The magnitude of emotions we as humans gets to experience through this journey was the inspiration behind the collection. The designs are conceptually portrayed as acceptance, growth, and learning to experience the most delicate intimacy with oneself. Hence we named this collection "SWEVEN"
